It’s time to hunt for some bluebells!

You do not need to book a place on this walk.

Time to scour the woods for some beautiful bluebells and maybe forage yourself some wild garlic.

Meeting time 10:20am, to set off at 10:30am

Meeting point Meet outside the Prior Hotel Portbury

Difficulty Reasonably challenging. There’s some undulating terrain and a fairly long ascent and descent.

Toilets There’s no public toilets. You might be able to use the pub toilets at the start/end but you might have to buy something.

Cafe/pub Priory Hotel pub afterwards

Parking There’s some free on street parking on Priory Road

Public transport Get the X4 bus at 9.40am from Bristol Bus Station to Sheepway Station Road. Find or offer a lift in the Rideshare Whatsapp group.

Dogs Dogs are welcome. We might encounter livestock so they’ll need to be on a lead. There might be stiles you need to lift them over.

Access info Not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies. Undulating terrain, muddy paths in the woods and footpaths through fields. Some stiles and gates.
